I am a first time customer with My Custom Tailor. My initial impressions were very positive, having met Mycustomtailor on one of his trips to Canberra for a fitting and review of samples etc. Never having patronised an "overseas tailor" before, I was a little apprehensive going in. His quiet, polite, professionalism ensures the hour spent with him discussing fabrics and designs, plus his micrometer accurate eye, gives you confidence in the somewhat daunting prospect of giving someone $5,000 (AUD) who lives 10 hours flying time away! I have just received the first part of my order (several suits, shirts and trousers). Firstly, the fit is as exact as only "tailor made" can achieve.(notwithstanding you need a good tailor!) The fabrics are as ordered, high quality and consistent with the sample for colour and pattern. The finish on all items is just superb; I have not seen a suit finished the way Mycustomtailor and his team have executed my order - I own a Zegna suit as a benchmark - every detail has been addressed with an exactitude which many famous name suit makers can only envy. The "Master Tailor" in Mycustomtailor´s title is no window dressing - his products speak volumes of the Team´s total focus on quality and finish.

I am very pleased that the fit is very, very good. Certainly I am very favorably impressed that the fit is excellent. The gentleman who took my measurements must have done a very good job and the tailoring followed the measurements perfectly. I requested a somewhat tighter fit on the vest than is the standard and the result is perfect. The fit on the trousers is amazingly great. I don´t think I have ever looked that good in a pair of trousers before. Kudos! I requested a number of very specific details (peak lapels, pick stitching, no belt on the vest, working buttons on the cuffs, etc) and all of them are correctly done on the finished suit. Fabric choice was a big issue for this order. Your staff emailed me that the original fabric for the exterior of the suit -- the bold pinstripe -- was unavailable. It took a couple of emails to resolve the issue and I wanted you to know that I am very pleased with the fabric -- it was exactly what I wanted. I´m very happy with the suit.
